T. Francis "Jeep" Hanley Obituary
T. Francis 'Jeep' Hanley of West Chester T. Francis "Jeep" Hanley, 78, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Life Care Hospital in West Chester. He was the husband of the late Ellen Marie Katona Hanley. He is survived by his fiance, Shirley A. Clouser of West Chester. Born in Newtown Square, he was the son of the late John Hanley and the late Mary Dennin Hanley. Jeep was a graduate of St. Agnes High School in West Chester. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jeep had worked as a union electrician and was a member of IBEW Local Union #654 since 1958. He was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church, West Chester. He was a Third Degree life member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #1333 of West Chester. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Wolfe Tone Division 1, of West Chester and Mt. Vernon Rod & Gun Club. In addition to his fiance, Jeep is survived by his son, T. Edward Hanley of Birdsboro; daughter, Theresa E. Hanley of Coatesville; son, James B. Hanley of Glenmoore; son, Patrick J. Hanley of Ashburn, Va.; daughter, Kathryn J. Hanley of Earlville, Md; and five grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. Visitations will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 19, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380.
