Obituary Condolences

Thomas G. Taylor of West Chester Thomas G. Taylor, 77, of West Chester, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012. A lifelong resident of West Chester, he was a graduate of West Chester High School and Temple University. He worked as a bookkeeper in local businesses, including Spaz Beverage Company. He found his true calling after retirement, when he became a part-time baseball scout, working first for the LA Dodgers, then the New York Mets, and recently the Cincinnati Reds. He was active with the West Chester Baseball League and was a member of its Hall of Fame. He was the son of T. Rodney Taylor and Catherine Turner Taylor Munshower. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth J. Taylor of Medford, N.J. and Catherine T. Dwan of Waldwick, N.J., and by a niece and nephew. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
