Timothy Bauernschmidt Obituary
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Julie Kirchhoff Bauernschmidt, to whom he was married for 23 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Kirsten Bauernschmidt.
Tim is also survived by his mother, Katherine (Kay) Desmond Bauernschmidt; his brothers, Bill (Debbie), Bob (Christy), Jim (Kim), currently residing in Florida; and George ""Jay"" (Sally); many nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Lilian Kirchhoff of West Chester and brother-in-law Chris Kirchhoff. He was predeceased by his father George Bauernschmidt, father-in-law Carl Kirchhoff, and nephew Billy.
He was born in Morton, Delaware County, and raised in West Chester. He owned and operated T. Bauernschmidt Excavating since 1990. Tim was a 1978 graduate from East High School.
Tim's favorite love was his daughter Kirsten. He was always so proud of her accomplishments with everything that she did. Tim was appreciative of the support Julie gave to him in his business endeavors. Tim had become more than a son-in-law for Carl and Lilian Kirchhoff as he was always there to assist in many of their needs and care.
Tim was an avid Flyers and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed his family time in Ocean City and Captiva, Fla. where he could relax fishing. Tim also spent many hours watching Kirsten develop her achievements in horseback riding.
Tim will be greatly missed by all that considered him husband, father, son, brother, friend, client, work colleague, or acquaintance.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, 610-431-9000, and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, at Ss. Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ""Timmy's Chance to Ride"" Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 294, Westtown, PA 19395-0294.

I am so sorry to hear about "Timmy" being taken from you. I know God is looking out for you with Timmy by his side.
It has been a long, long time since I have seen him but I have so many fond memories of Tim and all the B's and us playing ball and getting into trouble around the neighborhood. My deepest condolences and all my prayers are with you,

Dear Julie & Kirsten,
My husband,Bob and I feel so honored to have known Tim. He was working on a project for our home and even though we had only know him for a short period of time,it is amazing what a positive impact he had on our lives. We always looked forward to seeing him pull in the driveway with that big warm smile and gregarious personality. He was one of the most generous,down to earth guys we have ever met and we will miss him tremendously. God bless Kirsten,Julie and all of Tim's extended family. The world was a better place with Tim in it. He truly will be missed.

Tim always had a distinct voice and great laugh and you always knew when he was around. He could make a friend in a 5 minuite conversation and he always had something in common with everyone he met. He was a great guy and will be missed by so many people. Words can never express what his sudden loss means to everyone he knew. I thought he was the best guy and my family will always miss him and think of him often and with Love. Tim B it just won't be the same without you in all of our lives.
