Albert J. Lawson of Aston. Albert J. Lawson, 87 of Aston, Pa died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. He was the husband of Rose Roschen Lawson and former husband of Barbara Brittingham Monaghan of Parkesburg, Pa. Born in Gladwyne, Pa. he was the son of the late Moore Lawson and the late Ida Watson. Albert was a retired body shop manager for Garnet Ford in Chadds Ford, Pa. He was an honorably discharged World War II U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his wife and former wife, Albert is survived by his son, Peter L. Lawson and wife Judith of Mooresville, N.C.; daughter, Sharon Angus-Smith and husband Andrew of Lansdowne, Pa; son, Phillip Prosseda and wife Lanette of Monument, Colo.; son, Robert B. Prosseda of Aston, Pa.; and grandchildren, Matthew, Kristina, Bethany and Olivia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Barnett. A fine son. A great brother. A worthy veteran. A tremendous husband. A wonderful father, step-father and father-in-law. A delightful grandfather. A cherished friend for so many. Surely, a good American.
