Allen H. 'Dig' Blacklock of Columbia, Pa. Allen H. "Dig" Blacklock, 88, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at his home in Columbia. Dig was born on July 13, 1923 in West Grove, to the late Harry and Rebecca Allen Blacklock. He was the owner and operator of an Exxon Gas Station on Route 30 in Frazer. He was a member of the Thomson Lodge #340 F&AM, Lions Club of Frazer, and the Chester County Antique Car Club. Dig was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Young Blacklock, a son Allen H. Blacklock, Jr., and his longtime companion Doris Young. He was the father of Sharon Harkins (Jim) of Columbia; brother of Robert Blacklock of Coatesville and Anna Stern of Gap; daughter-in-law Bonnie Blacklock of Florida; grandfather of six and great-grandfather of two. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dig's life celebration from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, at Mauger-Givnish of Malvern 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, followed by his funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park.
