Ann Ortlip Swavely Obituary
Ann Ortlip Swavely of Audubon, Pa and Ocean City, NJ, Ann Ortlip Swavely, age 70, of Audubon, Pa. and Ocean City, N.J., a retired administrator, died after a prolonged struggle with Parkinsons Disease in Bel Air, Md.. on Sunday September 9, 2012. Ann worked for 40 years in the administration offices of Bryn Mawr College and retired in 2000 as an assistant to the President. She attended Drexel University where she was a cheerleader. Ann enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She served as a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader. Ann and her husband Robert L. Swavely, lived in Newtown Square, Pa. until they moved to Shannondell at Valley Forge. The couple married in 1964. She was devoted to her family with whom she spent many summers in Ocean City, N.J. Ann was the daughter of the late Florence Van Meter Ortlip and Parke Thompson Ortlip of Newtown Square. She is survived by her children Jeffery Robert and wife Sandra (Yost), Tara Ann Boyko and Husband Michael Boyko: and her grandchildren Samuel and Benjamin Swavely, and Michael and Madison Boyko. A celebration of her life will held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Frank C. Videon Funeral Home,Sproul & Lawrence Roads, Broomall where relatives & friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Michael J.
