Anthony was not only a coworker but a friend, he would always make me laugh, especially when he would come into my office on Monday mornings and play the Eagle fight song on his trumpet

I only came to know Tony in the past few months when I was about to repair my old TI 99/4A and was looking for software. I was surprised that the community was still so alive and that Tony was one of the greatest people who made sure that TI will live on until today. I feel as if I knew Tony now, through his work he will live forever and be loved by all who can appreciate his great contributions. A great loss for this community. RIP

We had some great times on the TI BBSes back in the day. He was always ready to jump on any project that could push the 99\4a and Geneve to new limits. A positive inspiration for myself and I'll bet the entire TI/Geneve community. I will miss him for sure. My condolences to the Knerr family.

Tony was a great guy and wonderful co-worker. Not only a great answer guy but funny too. I will miss his knocks on my cubicle; and who will share all the funny Big Bang Theory stuff with me?!
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May your memories of him be filled with the love he had for you.

I did not know Tony Knerr personally, but, I remember him fondly, in the computer internet group for the Ti99/4a/Geneve. He was always handy to get information on our beloved little "orphan" computer, and, was very impressed with another programmer's inspiring work. I will play that work , called "Snoopy" this year, at Christmas , and, watch while saying a prayer and raising a glass of cocoa to my friend Tony.
Rest in Peace, Tony Knerr and may all of us Ti99'ers wish the Knerr family the best wishes of Strength, Hope and Love in this time of sorrow.
Peace

I had known of Tony for a very long time as a member and major contributor to the TI community. I finally got to meet him recently and looked forward to seeing him every year in Evanston. He has been the creative and driving force behind some really awesome new stuff in the community, but most important of all to me was his caring and concern over me when I had an unsettling family surprise of my own. He offered some soothing words of wisdom, fatherly advice, incredible words of encouragement, and later checked in on me. I will remember him as incredibly talented, imaginative, supportive, generally fun and often outspoken. All my best to his friends and family; may he rest in peace.

This is some sad news. Tony was one of the best folks I knew--I am proud to have had my life enriched by his presence. My sincerest sympathy to the family and the rest of his friends. The magic of The Great Gazoo will always be with us. I will miss you my friend--and until we meet again in the hereafter, fare well.
