Beverly C. Bittenbender of Downingtown Beverly C. Bittenbender, 73, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Emil R. Bittenbender, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1996. Born in Pittsburgh, Beverly was the daughter of the late William and Helen Miller Horner. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in education. Before her retirement in 2008, Beverly was showroom manager for Ball and Ball Antique Hardware Reproductions in Exton for 36 years. She was a member of the Kings Way Independent Church in Sadsburyville. Beverly taught ballet in Pittsburgh and enjoyed music and the arts. She was an avid animal lover. Mrs. Bittenbender is survived by her children, Stacy L. Baun and her husband, David, of Chalfont, Sherryn L. Hart and her husband, David, of Denver, Pa. and Scott L. Baldwin of Coatesville; five grandchildren, Brandon, Connor, and Trevor Baun, and David, Jr. and Taylor Hart; and brother, William D. Horner and his wife, Nancy, of Severn, Md. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26th at Kings Way Independent Church, 55 Morris Ln., Sadsburyville, PA 19320, where family and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment to immediately follow at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery, Downingtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kings Way Independent Church at the above address. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the James J.
