Charlotte L. Kauffman Obituary
Charlotte L. Kauffman, formerly of Cochranville Charlotte L. Kauffman, 75, previously of Cochranville, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Jennersville Hospital. She was the widow of the late Charles E. Kauffman, Jr. who passed away in 1996. Born in Chester County, she was daughter of the late Roy and Jean (Graybill) Swinehart. An area resident her entire life, she was a member of the Cochranville United Methodist Church, the Golden Age Club of Cochranville and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cochranville Fire Co. Charlotte was employed for 25 years as a bank teller for the former Blue Ball Bank of Parkesburg. She was the beloved mother of three daughters, Pamela J. Phillips, wife of Kelly, of Parkesburg, Valerie A. Ross of Christiana, Pa. and Charlene M. Kauffman of Cochranville; four grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; and siblings, Robert Swinehart of Lancaster, Ronald Swinehart of Georgetown, Gladys Miller of Lancaster and Jean Miller of Coatesville. She was predeceased by siblings, Roy Jr., Jerry and Barbara Swinehart. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8th, at the Cochranville Methodist Church, 92 Church St., Cochranville, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. The viewing will be held from 9 until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
