Declan A. Roberts of Downingtown Declan A. Roberts, 4 years old, of Downingtown, died on Monday, February 27, 2012, at home. Born in Paoli, he was the son of William D. Roberts and Megan McLoughlin Roberts of Downingtown. He was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church in West Chester. Declan was a warrior, hero, valiant and inspiring. During his 13 months of treatment, Declan never once lost his vivacious smile, his infectious giggle or his spirit. He lived life and experienced joy every day. At 4 years old, he taught all who met him numerous lessons about grace and perseverance. He changed the world by being a special part of it. He was full of goodness and he will be missed. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Brendan W. Roberts and Thomas X. Roberts; grandmothers, Antonia C. "Nonni" Roberts of Garnet Valley and Kathleen M. "Grammie" Miller of New Hope; and is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the late Alfred E. Roberts and the late Thomas P. McLoughlin. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester. Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. Visitations will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at St. Agnes Church.
