Obituary Condolences

Dora A. Rubbo Dora A. (nee Yanni) Rubbo of Malvern, formerly of Berwyn & Devon, passed away on Sept. 11, 2012 at the age of 94. She was the Wife of the late Charles P. Rubbo, the Mother of Charles P. (Jane Brown) Rubbo, Jr. of Chester Springs, Elaine M. (Rubbo) Consalvi of Malvern & Cindy (Steve) Rubbo Harwood of Paoli, the Grandmother of Phil & Mark Rubbo, Alesha Davis, Jeff & Greg Consalvi, Lori Chambers & Lauren Harwood and 12 Great grand children, the Sister of Agnes Curtis of Paoli and also the late Sarah, Mamie, Phil, Josie, Pauline, Helen & Annie, and the Sister-in-law of Tina Rubbo. In her early years she worked as a seamstress at her father's Tailor shop in Malvern. She spent most of her years as a devoted wife, mother, daughter & grandmother. Her hobbies were playing cards & crocheting Afghans for family & friends. Through her lengthy illness she loved to be surrounded by her children, grand children & great grand children. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, September, 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assum-ption in Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd., Strafford. Interment in St. Monica's Cemetery in Berwyn. The Viewing will be Saturday morning 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Chapel in OLA Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the above named Church or Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St. W. Chester, PA. 19380 or to St. Martha's Manor, 470 Manor Ave. Downingtown, Pa. 19335. Arrangements by the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. Paoli, PA.
