Dorothy Dewees Greenleaf Obituary
Dorothy Dewees Greenleaf of Honey Brook Dorothy Dewees Greenleaf, 90, died on November 19, 2011, at Tel Hai Retirement Community. Dorothy was born in West Chester on April 13, 1921 to the late George and Jean Miller Dewees. She was the wife of the late William Greenleaf. She was a graduate of Downingtown High School. Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life. She was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Exton, where she was involved with many church trips. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing the piano and cards. She was the mother of Sharon Paparelli of West Chester and William E. Greenleaf, Jr. (Brenda) of Coatesville; sister of Betty Gunkle of North Carolina; and is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dorothy's life celebration from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, December 2, at Mauger-Givnish of Malvern, 24 Monument Avenue, followed by her memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 101 Worthington Road, Exton, PA 19341 or the Tel Hai Retirement Community, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344.
