Edward Francis Perley Obituary
Edward Francis Perley of Downingtown Edward Francis Perley, 91, passed away on July 10, 2012 at the Coatesville V.A. Medical Center Hospice Unit. Born in Coatesville on August 20, 1920, he was the son of the late Edward H. and Marie (nee Ciarlone) Perley. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy during WWII on the U.S.S. Sigsbee. Edward was employed at Pepperidge Farm as the supervisor of receiving. He enjoyed Sunday family dinners, breakfast at the Coffee Cup and all sports, especially Notre Dame football. Edward was a member of St. Joseph Church, St. Anthony Lodge, Amphibious Order of Frogs, life member of the V.F.W and American Legion in Downingtown. He is survived by his wife, Josephine A. (nee DiBerardinis) Perley; children, Kathleen (Tony) Przychodzien of Sadsburyville, Edward J. Perley of Downingtown, Patricia (Philip) Heron of Downingtown, Joanne (Ronnie) Parrott of Coatesville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, George Perley, sister, Dorothy Stachowski and stepfather, Anthony Milano, Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to Edward's Life Celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 13 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at Ralston & Bredickas of Downingtown, 107 W. Lancaster Ave. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown. Entombment St. Agnes Cemetery.
