Edward N. "Ed" Grubb Obituary
Edward Newton Grubb, 71 of Coatesville Edward "Ed" N. Grubb, 71 of Coatesville passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sept. 10, 2013 at Seasons Hospice of Phoenixville, Pa. Ed was the loving husband to Ann Grubb and they shared 47 Years of marriage. Born on August 7, 1942 in Scranton, Pa he was the son of the late Edward and Marion Pursel Grubb. Ed worked as a Speech Pathologist in the educational system. He loved all Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies, church activities, cooking, technology and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Steven Grubb of Mechanicsburg, Pa., a daughter Lauren Shortall of North East, Md., daughter-in-law Natalie Grubb, son-in-law Dave Shortall and four grandchildren: Lindsay, Samantha, Abby and Ella. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 852 Hopewell Rd. Downingtown, Pa 19335.
