Obituary Condolences

Francis P. Goleash of Exton Mr. Francis P. Goleash, 70, died on February 23, 2012, at Paoli Memorial Hospital in Paoli. Born in Hazelton, Mr. Goleash was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School in Delaware County. For the last 38 years he was a resident of Exton. For 15 years he was a mechanic for the ARCO refineries in Philadelphia and Uwchland. Later he worked for the Sun Oil Company as an operator at the Sinking Springs facility in Pennsylvania for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and caring for his two cats, Spookie and Zena. Being mechanically inclined, he also repaired small engines. He belonged to the Eastern Lancaster County Rod & Gun Club in Gap, Pa. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy E. (nee Larkin) Goleash of Exton; three sons, Francis William (Margaret) of Glenmoore, John of Exton and Andrew James (Angelina Spinelli) Goleash of Exton. He is also survived by a sister, Monica Jarrell of Grandville Summit, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Dillon, and Kevin; and one sister-in-law, Joanne Goleash of Glenmoore. He was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and John Goleash. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation after 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27, at St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064, until the time of his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Donations in his memory may be made to the Meadowbrook Manor Civic Association, c/o Rick Himes, 516 E. Swedesford Road, Exton, PA 19341. Arrangements by Kovacs Funeral Home, Inc.
