Obituary Condolences

Glenn K. Landis of Audubon Glenn K. Landis, 88, of Audubon, Pa. passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012. He was the husband of the late Betty J. (Nee Poyer) Landis. Glenn was born in Phillipsburg, N.J. to the late Edwin C. and Estella B. Landis. He was a 1940 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and a 1944 graduate of Lafayette College. Glenn trained as a Navy torpedo/bomber pilot during World War II, achieving the rank of Lieutenant, JG. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he joined the Bell Telephone Company of PA, retiring as a Senior Manager in 1983. Glenn enjoyed singing from an early age, performing as a soloist and in choral groups in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia areas, including at Shannondell and his church. He was active in alumni affairs at Lafayette College, served as president of the Fenwick Towers Condominium Association in Delaware and was a member of the Lower Providence Township Republican Committee. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Landis. Surviving are children, Glenn N. Landis and June L. Landis; three brothers: John, Richard and Edwin C. Landis, Jr. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Glenn Steven Landis, Lara Landis, Lorene Honaker and Elizabeth and Joseph E. Forro; as well as five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Glenn's Memorial Service at Paoli Presbyterian Church, 225 S. Valley Rd., Paoli, Pa. on Saturday March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Glenn's honor to the , P.O.
