Hilda Holbrook of Downingtown Hilda Holbrook, 93, of Downingtown, passed away on September 2, 2013 at Villa St. Martha. She was the wife of Dr. W. Kenneth Holbrook, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage. Born in Harrisburg Pa, Hilda was the daughter of Ralph W. Gonder and Lily Mohler of Lititz, Pa. Hilda was active in her church and also worked with the Dandelion's in Reading, Massachusetts. She also volunteered with the Morgan Memorial Goodwill and assisted with her husband's medical practice. Hilda was a member of Bearhill Country Club and enjoyed golfing there and in Davie, Florida. Hilda is survived by her three daughters, Judy Garrett of Greensville, S.C., Linda Holbrook of San Francisco, Calif. and Joan Adams of Downingtown, Pa.; her sister Betty Mulhollen of Elizabethtown, Pa.; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, W. Kenneth Holbrook, one sister, Evelyn Smith, and her mother and father Ralph W. Gonder and Lily Mohler. A funeral service will take place at St Martha Manor, 470 Manor Ave Downingtown, Pa., on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
