Jacqueline Mowrer Ewing of Malvern Jacqueline Mowrer Ewing, 88, of Malvern, died on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Devon Senior Living. Jacqueline was born on December 2, 1923 in Phila. to the late William and Helen Smith Mowrer. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas C. Ewing. She was a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. Jacqueline was a homemaker most of her life, but volunteered for 20 years as a receptionist at the Church of the Good Samaritan. She enjoyed reading, crafts and was an avid animal lover. She was the mother of Thomas Ewing III (Dolores) of Jackson, N.J. and William C. Ewing (Jennifer) of Malvern; grandmother of William, Matthew, Jeffrey, Jason, Joshua, and Jessica; and great-grandmother of four. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jacqueline's life celebration service at 12 noon on Saturday, March 10, at the Chapel of the Church of the Good Samaritan, 212 West Lancaster Avenue Paoli, PA 19301. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
