James M. Crane Jr. of Coatesville James M. Crane, Jr., 82, of Coatesville died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James M. and Mary Orton Crane. James served in the United States Air Force during the
. He was employed as a plumber and was a member of Philadelphia Local #690. For 43 years, he was a member of St. Cecilia Church. James played many rounds of golf at Ingleside, was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed baking cheesecakes and pies. Surviving him are two sons, James M., III, husband of Kathleen and Martin, husband of Terry; a daughter, Joanne Lindquist, wife of Michael; two sisters, Peggy Kryger and Mary Katherine Magee; and three grandchildren, Nicole, Kaitlin and Julianna. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia O'Conner and a brother, Joseph Crane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 11, at St. Cecilia Church, 6th Avenue and Chestnut Streets, Coatesville. Family and friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.
