James W. "Jim" Toth Obituary
James W. "Jim" Toth, 56, of Parkesburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He was the beloved husband of Lisa M. Poluch Toth, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of John E. Toth, Sr. and the late Doris Bair Toth. He was a 1974 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and received his bachelor's degree attending University of Delaware and Delaware Technical Community College. He was employed by the Chrysler Corporation where he worked as a robotic engineer for the past 28 years. Jim was a proud father and grandfather who enjoyed spectating and coaching his sons' sporting events. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was also a world traveler, both leisurely and professionally throughout Europe, Mexico and Canada. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his sons, James I. Toth (Lilie) of Philadelphia and Christopher M. Toth (Kristina) of Galesville, Md. He is also survived by his brother, John E. Toth, Jr. of East Fallowfield; grandchildren, Hudson and Harper Toth; and by 15 nieces and nephews. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 20th, at St. Joseph Church, 400 Charles Street, Coatesville. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Coatesville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's name to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 33 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
