James Wright, formerly of West Chester James Wright, 83, of Chippewa Township, was called to eternal rest on Sunday, April 22, 2012. Jim was born February 22, 1929 to the late Thomas and Mary Guichan Wright. He was raised and educated in Scotland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1964 and resided in Connecticut for 23 years. He moved to West Chester in 1987 and then to Chippewa, Pa. in 2002. Jim retired from E.I. DuPont in 1991 where he worked at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Del. as a staff research engineer. He was previously a member of the Knights of Columbus in the Msgr. Schuyler Council 1333 in West Chester, where he was a Past Grand Knight and Past Faithful Navigator of Chester County assembly 1873 and district Deputy of Districts 15 and 17. His wife, Ann Miller Wright preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna-Marie and Thomas Migdal and Colleen Wright and five grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 25, in the Lutton Chippewa Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, www.luttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Thursday at 9:20 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima with Father Kim J. Schreck as celebrant. Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, Conn. on Saturday.
