John F. Alexander Obituary
John F. Alexander of Concord Twp. John F. Alexander, 85, of Concord Twp., died on June 8, 2013, at Jefferson Hospital. Born to the late Jesse and Katherine Garver Alexander, he was raised and educated in Philadelphia, earning his engineering degree from Drexel University. John was an active resident of Concord Twp. for the past 42 years, serving in many roles for the township. He was the founder of Tidewater Utilities, Inc. which operates throughout the state of Delaware. An avid antique car collector, John and his wife, Sharon, belonged to several car clubs in PA and N.J., enjoying many tours throughout the U.S. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Alexander. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sharon DePue Alexander; children, Jeffrey Alexander, Deanne Ross and husband Scott, Stephen Alexander and wife Karyn; along with five grandchildren, Katie and Shannon Ross, and Amy, Randy and Jake Alexander. His memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23rd, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley. Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
