Obituary Condolences

Kenneth M. Peitzman of Malvern Kenneth M. Peitzman, of Malvern, died at home, on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 69. Formerly of the Olney section of Philadelphia, he graduated from Cardinal Dougherty HS in 1962. He and his partner of 49 years, Gerald E. Wary, spent many years living in Delaware Co., moving to Malvern 35 years ago. Ken worked for PNC Bank for 35 years, as a banking officer and manager of the Loan Recovery Dept., retiring in the late 90's. A great lover of dogs, he worked for Canine Creature Comfort in Malvern, a doggie day care. This brought him much joy. Through the years he raised 5 dogs that lived past 18 years of age. Ken enjoyed music by Nana Mouskouri, watching movies and dining at the Desmond. A very spiritual man, Ken was devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and visited many neighborhood churches for Adoration and Exposition. His devotion to the Blessed Mother was evidenced by his recitation of the Rosary three times daily. In addition to his longtime companion, Jerry, he is survived by his twin sisters, Myra Peitzman of Phila., and Bess Lapsley of Cape May, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Murphy Peitzman; brother of the late Maurice (Buck), Ralph, Raymond and Jerome Peitzman. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, in St. Patrick's Church in Malvern, where friends are invited to gather after 10 a.m. For those desiring, memorial contributions to Sisters-IHM, Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA 19345, would be appreciated.
