Margaret A. "Meg" Richardson Obituary
Margaret A. 'Meg' Richardson of West Chester Margaret A. "Meg" Richardson (nee Howes) of West Chester, formerly of Manasquan, N.J., passed away on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. She was 69 years old. Born in Neptune, N.J., she grew up in Manasquan, graduating from Manasquan High School in 1962. Meg was one of the first female lifeguards in Manasquan. She attended Immaculata College in Washington, D.C., graduating in 1964 with her degree in early childhood education. She was married in 1967 in the United States Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, Md. Her life and her greatest joy in the world were her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Meg was predeceased by her father, Charles H. Howes Jr., who was a Manasquan councilman, and her mother, Ann. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dawson Richardson; son, Christopher P. Richardson and his wife Sonia Cheng; two daughters, Jennifer E. Fryberger and her husband Kevin and Courtney A. Tryon and her husband Bill; four grandchildren, Rylie, Westin, Eva and Alexandra; her sister, Mary Ellen Berardi and her husband Richard of Manasquan; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22nd, at the Longwood Funeral Home of Matthew Genereux, 913 East Baltimore Pike in Kennett Square. Visitation with the family will be from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial was private in Manasquan, N.J.
