Marilyn 'Lynn' Behenna of West Chester Marilyn (nee Brawley) "Lynn" Behenna, 74, of West Chester, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester. Mrs. Behenna was born and raised in Altoona; she had been a resident of Springfield for over 20 years, before moving to West Chester 20 years ago. Lynn was a 1955 graduate of Altoona High School. She had been employed by Bell Atlantic for 43 years working her way up from an operator to a Director of Human Resources. She then worked as a consultant for Senn-Delancy, a leadership company. Mrs. Behenna was a member of Grove United Methodist Church, West Chester. She was a member of The Paoli Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and worked as a greeter for Paoli Hospital. Lynn was devoted to her family and friends enjoying the times they were together. She loved to cook, was a passionate football fan, and had a love for dogs. Lynn was the beloved wife of the late David Behenna, who died in 1998 She is survived by her loving son, Eric David Behenna of West Chester; loving daughter, Susan Behenna Dermott (Jonathan) of Media; and devoted grandchildren, Abigail, Amanda, Ava and Derek Dermott. Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 212 W. Springfield Road, Springfield. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Interment, Covenant United Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
