Marion Reynolds Bartram Obituary
Marion Reynolds Bartram of West Chester Marion Reynolds Bartram, 89, entered into God's eternal presence on March 6, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Reynolds and the late Mabel Tuthill Reynolds. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John Hibberd Bartram, as well as her youngest sister, Ann Martini Lee. Marion is survived by her sister Ruth Johnson of Rancocas, NJ as well as her five daughters: Evelyn Dudas and Sally McEneaney of West Chester, Trisha Lenzi of Homer City and Barbara Groff and Ruth Santino of Biglerville. She leaves a legacy of 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She and her husband graduated from Penn State University and established a family run fruit business in Chester County. They owned and operated Bartram's Market at the corner of Route 202 and 926 for 35 years. She went on to earn her master's degree from Villanova. Marion was a staunch conservative patriot. She only missed voting in one election since she was 21. As a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, she served as a choir member, Sunday school teacher, mission board member and leader of Golden Fellowship in West Chester United Methodist and Goshen Baptist Churches. She was elected and served two terms on the West Chester School Board. For thirty-five years, she served as a Girl Scout leader. Marion loved reading, learning and nature. She loved and served her God, her country and her family. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at the Goshen Baptist Church 1451 West Chester Pike, West Chester, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Rosedale Friends Cemetery, West Chester.
