Obituary Condolences

Mary Jane Hindle, formerly of West Chester Mary Jane Hindle, 83, of Onancock, Va., formerly of West Chester, died Wednesday July 11, 2012 at Hermitage in Onancock. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Hindle. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Charlotte Hafer. Mary operated a bookstore in Potter County for several years. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed music, gardening and dancing with her late husband. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at the Hermitage for the wonderful care she received. She is survived by her children, Christopher Ren Hindle and his wife Claudia of Brazil, Roberta Susan Webb and her husband Ken of West Chester and Jonathan Matthew Hindle of Potter County; brother, David Hafer of Reading; and a grandson, Jeb Hindle. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sara Hindle. Relatives and friends are invited to her Graveside Service, 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Oaklands Cemetery, 1042 Pottstown Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hermitage Employee Christmas Fund, 23610 North Street, Onancock, VA 23417.
