Michael A. DiFronzo Obituary
Michael A. DiFronzo of Coatesville Michael A. DiFronzo, 56, of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at home with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Lori A. Romano, with whom he shared the past 16 years. Born in Bryn Mawr, he was the loving son of Anthony L. and Lucille P. Snyder DiFronzo of Exton. He was a 1974 graduate of B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester. He was employed as operations manager with Wire and Cable Specialties. Mike was an advanced Martial Artist having practiced for over 40 years. He was creative, artistic and poetic. Mike was also a sports enthusiast and has played baseball much of his life with the Malvern Babe Ruth League and West Chester Adult League. Previously he enjoyed bowling with his wife at the Bowling Palace in Downingtown. He also loved music, and at an early age played drums in three different bands: Cat's Eye, Angry Young Mikes, and Three Mikes. Mike also loved anything space and space exploration related. In addition to his wife and parents; he is survived by his children, Andrew of Coatesville and Adrienne Giunta (Joe) of West Chester; stepchildren, Tiffany Donnell of Coatesville and Jacque Donnell III of Chester Springs; and a step-grandson, Zachary DiPuppo whom he adored. He is also survived by his brother, Anthony J. (Diane) of Malvern; and sisters, Celina "Lee" Siwula (Ed) of Malvern, Laura J. Romans (Bill) of Coatesville, and Maria D. Turner (Kevin) of West Chester. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19th, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to The National Brain Tumor Society (www.braintumor.org) or The American Brain Tumor Association (www.abta.org).
