Michael L. Orsini Obituary
Michael L. Orsini of Downingtown Michael L. Orsini, 26, of Downingtown, passed away at the Paoli Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 as result of a hit and run while trying to turn the motorcycle he was riding into his apartment complex in Downingtown. He was born in West Chester, son of Christina Groff Yoder, wife of Evan Yoder of Quarryville, and Lawrence, husband of Elizabeth LaPorta Orsini of Coatesville. He attended Freedom Life Christian Center of Christiana. He was a 2004 graduate of Coatesville High School. Mike worked at West Chester University as a logistics clerk; he was also presently attending the university as a student. He enjoyed motorcycles, BMX biking, snowboarding and rock climbing. Surviving besides his parents, is his companion Amanda L. King and their 9 month old daughter, Isabella M. Orsini at home; grandparents, Robert and Anne Dickson Groff of Airville, Pa. and Leonard, husband of Isabella Guanti Orsini of Boca Rotan, Fla.; siblings, Maria Orsini of Quarryville, Justin Orsini of Jacksonville, Fla., Janine Orsini of Quarryville; step-siblings, Korey, Daniel and Amberly Yoder all of Quarryville, and Samuel and Jacob O'Connell of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Victoria Salamon Orsini. His funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, at the Freedom Life Christian Center, 447 Noble Road, Christiana, Pa., with a viewing time from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will take place in the Bart Mennonite Cemetery, Christiana, Pa.
