Naaman W. Smoker of Kennett Square Naaman W. Smoker, age 68 of Kennett Square, Pa. passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. He was the husband of Elizabeth Maule Smoker with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage on March 11th of this year. He was born in Cochranville, son of the late Leon & Esther Engle Smoker. He was a self employed builder. He served in the Air National Guard, 111 Military Airlift Wing stationed in Willow Grove, Pa., attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a legionnaire, member of the American Legion Post #0945. He enjoyed hunting and fly fishing, and especially fly fishing in the western states. Surviving besides his wife are four siblings: Harold husband of Linda Weaver Smoker of Rising Sun, Md., Anna Stern of Gap, Verna wife of Charles Heisler of Quarryville, and Linda wife of Kenneth Jackson of Honey Brook. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul & Vernon Smoker. Funeral service will take place from the London Grove Friends Meeting, 500 West Street Road, Kennett Square, Pa. on Monday, July 15th at 10 a.m. with Pastor Charlie Walter officiating. There will be a viewing at the meeting house on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a .
