Norman Pritchett of West Chester Norman Pritchett, 80, of West Chester, passed away at home on Dec. 23, 2012. Norman was born to the late Margaret and John Pritchett in Whitewater, Wis. He served in the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1955. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin and enjoyed a long career as a Contracts Manager with the Boeing Company. Norman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Julie Pritchett; his daughters, Pam Millar of Brooktondale, N.Y., and Kym Licup of Hockessin, Del., and four grandchildren, Kate, Luke, Emerson and Alta Millar; and his sister, Patty Drescher of Baraboo, Wis. Norman was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Huegel of Madison, Wis. Norman will be remembered for his house and car projects and passion for hardware stores and the Green Bay Packers, for popcorn and Doublemint gum. And, for being a steady and constant support for his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Norman and Julie's home. Julie...upon returning from NJ I read of Norm's passing. I have such good memories of his visits to my store over the last 14 years...I will miss those visits as he was a really good guy. So sorry to hear of his passing.
