Robert Frank "Bob" Larsen Obituary
Robert 'Bob' Frank Larsen of West Chester Robert "Bob" Frank Larsen, 84, passed away Oct. 22, 2013 at the Neighborhood Health Inpatient Hospice, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was surrounded by his family, who loved him more than words can say. Born in Camden, N.J., he was the son of the late John and Borghild Larsen. He was a military veteran who retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1967, after serving 20 years in various assignments overseas and stateside. He also retired from Unisys Corporation (formerly Burroughs) in 1996. A devoted Eagles fan, Bob loved spending time with his family, working in the back yard, and doing volunteer work. He is survived by the love of his life, Katherine Ann Larsen, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; four daughters, Barbara Larsen of West Chester, Kristine Larsen of Millsap, Texas (William Martin, fianc), Susan Moser (Steve) of Gettysburg, and Donna "Asha" Larsen (Michael Ousey) of Marshallton; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Larsen (Pearl) of Crete, Ill.; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Larsen and Penny Larsen. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Larsen of Montpelier, Vt. and Philip Larsen of Marquette, Mich. A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27th, at the Logan Funeral Home, 698 East Lincoln Highway, Exton. There will be a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28th, at Ss. Philip and James Church, 107 North Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341. Bob left a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. He lived by "The Golden Rule" so please do an act of kindness in his name.
