Rose Ann Mohn Obituary
Rose Ann Mohn of West Chester Rose Ann (Cassidy) Mohn, 76, died February 10, 2012. Born in Philadelphia to John and Elizabeth Cassidy, Rose Ann was the youngest of nine children. She was raised in Overbrook and lived in Roxborough before moving to West Chester. When you spoke with "Rosie", you always got an interesting piece of history, memories and were sure she would make you laugh. Rose was a member of The Friends of Old St. Thomas and the Brandywine River Museum. She was a volunteer at the Chester County Historical Society. Although Rose loved to read and tell family stories, her deepest passion was her love for her doggies. She called them her "kids" and truly appreciated them for the unconditional love they gave her. Rose worked at Home Instead Senior Care. Her clients loved her for her intelligent conversation, caring heart and, most important, trusted her. They always wanted her back. Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Irv, and her brothers, John and Joe Cassidy, and her sisters, Catherine Cassidy and Virginia Reichle. She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Courter, Dorothy L. Harrison and Mary Hudome and her brother, Michael Cassidy, and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 17, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston. Burial will in St. Thomas The Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills.
