Rose Marie Armentrout of Westwood Rose Marie Armentrout, 75, of Westwood, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Brandywine Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Wilson E. Armentrout, Jr., with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Newark, Del., she was the daughter of the late Otto and Mary Kemp Erhart. A graduate of William Penn High School in New Castle, Rose Marie worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone until her retirement in 1969. Among the many things she enjoyed was playing bingo at Westwood Fire Company and motorcycle riding with her husband. Together, they also enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii, and camping in Florida. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Allen Armentrout and girlfriend, Carol, of Coatesville, Robert Armentrout and wife, Linda, of Morgantown, Deborah Reynolds of New Holland, and Donald Grainger and wife, Betty Jane, of Lancaster County. She is also survived by her sisters, Ena Brown, Janie Ross and Barbara Jones; and by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, William Grainger. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery. www.jamesterryfuneralhome.com.
