Ruth E. Shultz of Malvern Ruth E. Shultz, 93, of Malvern, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away late Monday evening at her residence, after an extended illness. She was born in Williamsburg on August 16, 1918, daughter of the late William H. and Minnie E. (Beegle) Shultz. Surviving are her longtime caregiver, Joann Fleck, with whom she resided; two nieces, Bonnie J. Shultz of Phoenixville and Nelly (Guerin) Shultz of rural Martinsburg; a great-niece, Veronica Stern and husband Kevin of Duncansville; and two great-great-nephews, Chris and Eric Stern. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles W. and Harold K. Shultz; and a nephew, Kenneth H. Shultz. Miss Shultz was a 1939 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She was formerly employed at West Virginia Pulp & Paper Company in Williamsburg; the United Church Board of Homeland Ministries, United Church of Christ in both Philadelphia and New York City; and also served as an au pair for over 20 years. Miss Shultz was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church in Glenmoore, Chester County. She enjoyed reading. A public graveside service, followed by interment, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, November 5, at Shellytown Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Inc., Williamsburg.
