Of the time and to be in ur presence well it was pretty much impossible not also to be happy, smiling or laughing!!!

Ur Brother Bernie we like some of the posts way down the bottom here from Professors and Teachers that would tell the world to of how you lit up a classroom by just being there let alone the things you´d say along the time the class took!!! It´s also a very easy item to know is how Great of an Athlete you were as well as a gifted Academic as God knew how long you were going to be here with us so he gave you so many many nice things that ress as lily made ur short life a really gifted life!!! It´s been 12 years since you went home to Heaven and sometimes it feels like a very short time or even maybe a longer time since God took you from us all and it´s just still the same thing whenever you come up in conversations in that it´s like Billy Joel´s song, only the good die young. It´s just not fair at least to all of us here stuck on earth to live on without you my Son, it´s just not fair you know?!?!?! In any case, WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH MY SON. So please take it easy and please continue to stop by and see us all on the regular basis that you do!!! So just for now, I´ll say goodbye but for everyday we live on down here is well one less day we´ll live on without you!!! Take care and know how much we love you!!!

Hey Sammy. I can´t believe it´s been ten years. Earlier tonight a cardinal was up on our window looking into the house. It stayed around for a while just looking in. I have never seen a bird up there before. I know cardinals are meant to be messengers from your loved ones in heaven and I´d like to think it was you coming to say hello, to let me know you knew I was thinking about you. I have a son now and I wish you could meet him. I saw your dad today over FaceTime when I called mommom to show her Jax playing. I know you are too big of an energy to truly leave those that love you so I´m comforted to think you are always with us. I love and miss you cousin.

Every year when March 3rd comes around my heart breaks all over again, I know ppl say it gets easier with time but honestly I don´t know what they are talking about! Because I still feel the same pain and heartache I felt when I got that phone call! The pain has never left me and I don´t think it ever will. I love you brother I miss you more and more everyday. It breaks my heart that Kenzie will never get to meet her crazy goofy Uncle Sam, I tell her all about you and she loves to hear are silly stories! You are one of a kind brother! As I sit here I know today marks 9 years Since God called you "Home" but Sam it could be 90, 900 or whatever amount of years but it seems like just yesterday.
I find it kinda nice when someone will approach me with a story about you and these incidents ALWAYS leave me laughing or at the very least smiling!!! The best stories come from ur Brother Bernie and they usually ALWAYS leave me & ur Mom in those "good" tears .
We three ( plus actually ALL of ur Family Members ) can't wait untill our little Family of 4 will be reunited forever !!! ✝
In any case please do keep in touch with us through me, which this gift God gave us is most definitely such a huge huge and big help in keeping us with you and without that "communication" I'm not entirely sure how we'd all be huh??? In any case take care, say hi to everyone and know that without a doubt our Family Love grows with each passing year untill we meet again my Son.

Sammy YOU KNOW how much me, ur Mom and Bernie Love & miss you. I know it's been 8 years but at times it seems like 8 weeks.
there is definetly one thing I've noticed since you went to Heaven and joined a lot of people you know especially Pop Pop, but Bernie & I were talking about throwing the "X" which we still do especially when he's leaving our place but I have seen like just after you left I've seen a ton of people using it. I have seen Dez Bryant from the Cowboys throwing it, Woman from the Super USA Soccer Team and SO MANY MORE all over the place. and I KNOW I have NEVER seen it before you started using it so you Sam Morgan started something that's now gone global !!!
VERY COOL HUH !!!
In any case I don't want to bore you because I NOW ur here at our Apartment ALOT. I KNOW IT but I rarely tell people because I know people would think I'm nuts, BUT I KNOW you & I talk, communicate, etc ALL OF THE TIME. It makes you not being here physically a little bit easier to handle, and I DO MEAN JUST A LITTLE because we all do miss you SO SO MUCH SAMMY.

I had JUST left a really nice and yeah you know A DAD, A LONG MESSAGE !!! LOL but somehow it got lost !!! nothing's changed with your Dad's Computer knowledge !!!
In short it just made mention in 47 Days you'll have left us 8 YEARS AGO. Someays it feels like 8 years, Other days it"s like 8 days???
I also spoke that this year I'm sure will be the same in that I will be giving a Speech to "your team" going to the VALOR BOWL and that I talk about how I need these Guys while they're still on Mom & dad's Insurance to go & get an Echocardiogram. It's Painless and immediately they'll know if they have the Athletes Heart Which is what took you away from us all. It's also known as Cardiomyophathy (sp?)
in any case if there's ONE CONSILATION it's that we can still communicate with each other which 50% of People will doubt we have but I say the hell with 'em cause I KNOW WE CAN. I PRAY all is well and please tell Pop Pop I said hello !!!

I think about you often, Sam and I try to check in with you almost every time I talk to my Mom. I think about how different all of our lives would be if you were still here with us, specifically your parents and Bernie's lives. For you to have been at/in our wedding, for you to have met our little puffy cat (yes, I said cat. Your brother has fallen in love with a 15 lb feline named Penny lol), for you to have been an Uncle one day to our future kids. These moments make me so sad because I know they would be so much better if you were still here, physically. But I know you are still here, spiritually and always be. You turned 27 years young this week and although it will be 6 years since you went to Heaven in like 2 months, IT STILL seems like just yesterday to your Mom & I & Bernie AND Poxin Jr. Yup, Poxin Jr. !!! LOL as I am sure you Know Big Bad Dewey is up there with you so Mom had to have another German AKC Sheppard, and we sure as heck got one !!! Sometimes I SWEAR when I look in his eyes it is YOU. This Dog does some things looking back at me like that when I tell "YOU" to wink at me with your right eye and poof, YOU DO LOL it is unbelievable what this Dog does Sometimes. In any case my Son as I do EVERY MORNING when I look up at an 8" x 10" big photo of you right after the Valor Bowl, I THROW YOU AN "X" to start my day, and I wouldn not have it any other way. I still can't believe that Sam is gone. I had numerous classes with him in middle school and high school and because of Sam those classes were fun. He was always cracking jokes, making the whole class laugh including the most difficult teachers! It was evident the love he had for his brother because of how highly he spoke of him. Sam had the ability to draw people in toward him because of this charm he had about him. Everyone loved to be around him. I'll never forget those good times. Truly a great guy.

My thoughts and prayers for your family are continuous. I wish I could have known Sam, but I was at least fortunate enough to meet him a few times at Ursinus' football games. And in just a few minutes of passing, I could tell he was a unique, funny guy who knew how to light up a room. And through my best friend, Brett Smyers, i know for a fact Sam was a great guy to say the least. I heard so many stories about him that only ended in laughter. A person like that can never be forgotten. I know he is and will be greatly missed. And as hard as it is to think about, I know heaven has gained one amazing angel to watch over each and every one of you.

Our prayers are with all of you. We loved getting to know Sam when he was at Ursinus College. He was an awesome football player and a wonderful friend to everyone who knew him. I can still see him jumping the fence at the football stadium after a game. We thought for sure he wasn't going to make it but he looked at us with that big smile of his and said "I knew I could make it". Brett will never forget all the fun they had as room mates and on the football field. Thank you for sharing your incredible son with all us. He has forever changed our lives and will never be forgotten! We know that God has a plan for him!

In high school Sam had the ability to light up a room with his personality. He was hilarious and intelligent. He was a born leader, with a soft side shown to few. He will be greatly missed by the class of 2009.

I had Sam in my Calc II class my first semester at Ursinus. He was in class the day after John Strassburger (our school president) died. I asked the students if anyone would like to share memories of him, and Sam was the only one who did. He mentioned that once he was sitting with his friends for lunch and President Strassburger sat down and joined them. Sam had no idea who he was and just carried on conversation as usual. He said he couldn't believe it when his friends told him who it was. The whole class laughed. I never thought that a year and a half later we would all be reflecting on our memories of Sam. Rest in peace, my friend.

I too was also deeply saddened when I learned of the sudden loss of Sam to this world.
Sam was a student/friend who I had the pleasure to meet just this past fall semester as a student in my Business class at Bryant University. Sam's wit, charm and outgoing personality always added a welcomed spark to each of my class sessions.
Always the perfect gentleman, Sam was his Business team's mediator, voice of reason and team humorist - no easy task!
To Sam's mom and dad - thank you for sharing Sam with us. He was a remarkable young man and we miss him deeply at Bryant.

We met Sam when he became part of the Romaine family last summer. He quickly joined our summer community and will be sadly missed. He sometimes hesitated to stroll over and visit us because he'd usually get put to work.. but he was happy for the acceptance of our long established community of beach lovers. Sam got to sail with Sara and our annual fleet of sunfish sailboats to Monomoy Island.. a memory Sara will always have. When we sail to Monomoy this summer, we will all remember Sam being with us when we last stepped foot on the sand... and how he was so proud to "sail" there, even if Sara did do all the work!! Sam didn't sail, but he ate enough sandwiches to add 10lbs to Sara's task of riding those unpredictable waves in Nantucket Sound all the way back to our beach. I remember how he cheered when he hit the beach. What a character he was! Sailing to Monomoy holds many memories for all of us, and Sam being with us will lovingly be one of them.

I dont know how to start out, i know we didnt get to hang out much as we got older, but ill never forget hanging out playing old school madden on the nintendo when we were all but 8 or 9 years old not a worry in the world. Such a loss of a huge contribution this yourng man would have made in life. His laughter, kindness and willingness always to give a hand was a reflection of the love his family had for him.
