Warren B. Mansur of Downingtown Warren B. Mansur, 80, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at his home. He was the husband of Norma King Mansur with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Warren and Ruth Reinhard Mansur. Warren was an active member of Olivet United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school, Bible study, and the Friday's Men Lunch. He was a 1949 graduate of Phoenixville High School, and then graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor of science degree in education. He later received his master's degree in library science from Villanova University. Warren served as a musician in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Lukens Band, the Norristown Band, Main Line Symphony, Red Hill Band of Perkiomenville, and the director of the Lancaster Senior Orchestra. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting stamps. In addition to his musical career, Warren also worked for Roach Brothers Realtors, Malcolm Wright Buick - Oldsmobile - GMC, Citadel FCU, was an English teacher, and the librarian at Scott Middle School for many years. In addition to his wife, Norma, Warren is survived by his son, Andy and his wife Janice of Lititz, two grandchildren, Jillian and Jack Warren, his sister, Nancy Kovach of Pottstown and many nieces and nephews. Warren's memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Olivet United Methodist Church, Coatesville, where family and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Memorials in Warren's honor may be made to Olivet United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund, 310 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.
