Obituary Condolences

William Joseph Outlaw of Downingtown William Joseph Outlaw, 89, died September 16, 2012. Born in Birmingham, Ala., he was a 40 year resident of Berkeley Heights, N.J., before moving to Pennsylvania in 2005. He served during WWII as a radioman for the U.S. Navy. He earned his master of mathematics from Northwestern University after receiving his BA from Birminham Southern College. After working for Prudtional for 32 years, he retired as the director of planning and research, CLU, FLMI. He was also a college professor of math and finance, and in his retirement he taught computer classes until he was 81. His warmth, kindness and positive spirit were evident to all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, James Outlaw and wife Kiyoko of Portland, Ore.; son, W. Scott Outlaw and wife Cathy of Seminole, Fla.; daughter, Carol Outlaw Trojanov and husband Steven of Downingtown; and granddaughter, Kelsey B. Trojanov of Downingtown. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Martha Key Reynolds Outlaw; sons, Roger and David Outlaw; sister, Mary Catherine Outlaw Tolleson; and brothers, Robert and John Outlaw. A private memorial service will be held at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 419 South Street, New Providence, NJ 07974. Auer Cremation Services of Pa., Inc.
