Jack 'Jay' Strauss of Chester Springs Jack G. "Jay" Strauss, 74, husband of Arleen N. (Serota) Strauss, of Chester Springs, died on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Betty (Robinson) Cohen. He was the owner and operator of his butcher supply company "PCS" for many years. Jay enjoyed riding his Harley and drinking his VO. He also loved to go out to dinner with his family, entertain and party with his friends. Jay liked to dabble in a little bit of everything such as cooking, baking, fishing and boating. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Ava, Linda, Cheryl, Sonny, Jill and Ruth; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A "Celebration of Jay's Life" will take place in July.
