Richard S.L. Ralph Obituary
Richard S. L. Ralph of Coatesville Richard S. L. Ralph, 88, of Coatesville, passed on Saturday, April 12, 2014. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Green Ralph. Born Jan. 7, 1926 in Honey Brook, he was the son of the late Frances E. Ralph. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Capt. Levi M. Hood Lodge #159 I.B.P.O.E. of W., Harmony Lodge #21 of the Free & Accepted Masons, American Legion Post and was a lifetime member of VFW Post. He retired in 1993 after 35 years as a master mechanic in the Operating Engineers Union #542. He owned and operated Dick Ralph's Rental Equipment, Inc. for four years. Surviving are his children, Joan (Ginger) Loper, Naomi (Frankie) Butler, Richard Broadnax; six grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of loving relatives and friends. Service will be held at 11 a.m, Monday, April 21st, at Milestone Events, LLC, 600 E. Market St., West Chester, with a viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
