Dwight would often make day trips to Lancaster County, one of his favorites. He enjoyed country music, especially Patsy Cline and Don Williams.
He is survived by his wife Ethel; son Scott Woollens and wife Carol of Sanford, N.C.; brother Dale Woollens and wife Patricia of Deland, Fla.; sister Sara Lysle of Landenberg; grandchildren David Woollens Jr., of Landenberg, Nathan Woollens, Lyman Woollens, and Virginia Woollens, all of Sanford, N.C.; 11 stepchildren; and eight nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife Virginia; and second wife Charlotte; son David Woollens, Sr.; sister Mary Alice Dudkewitz; and stepson Ron Jenkins.
A Life Celebration service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711. Friends and family may visit one hour prior beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kemblesville UMC Cemetery in Kemblesville, Pa.
