Jordan McKinley Reyburn Jr., 70, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his family and angels.|
He was the husband of Holly Winters Reyburn, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage.
Born in Oxford, he was the son of the late Jordan McKinley Sr. and Alice Marion Griffith Reyburn.
Jordan lived in Upper Oxford Township his entire life.
He graduated from Oxford Area High School, class of 1962.
His family attends Christian Life Center, New London. Jordan was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Kirkwood.
He was also a member of Skerrett Lodge 343 F&AM of Cochranville.
He loved his life as a farmer. He was a dairy farmer until 2008 and then continued as a crop farmer. He loved to travel to farm shows around the country. He also loved surf fishing on Hatteras Island, N.C.
Jordan lived a simple life, always making time for others. He loved being at home with family. He always wanted to give to others.
He is survived by his wife; and two children, Julia Marie Reyburn and Jordan McKinley Reyburn III.
He was preceded in death by his loved daughter, Laura Patricia Reyburn.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at the New London Presbyterian Church Christian Life Center, 125 Saginaw Road, Lincoln University, Pa.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Lighthouse Youth Center, P.O. Box 38, Oxford, PA 19363.
