John G. Klepic III

John G. Klepic III of West Chester John G. Klepic III, 64, died suddenly Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was the husband of Lydia Heid Klepic and father of Sarah Klepic Garrison. Born December 24, 1951 in Rochester, PA, he was the son of the late John G. Klepic, Jr. and the late Catherine Clayton Klepic. John was a 1969 graduate of New Brighton High School. He went on to receive his BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from Yale University in 1973, and his Master’s Degree in Polymer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. John was currently employed with Dart Container Corp in Leola, PA. He previously worked with Arco Chemical Company in Newtown Square, PA. He holds several patents in polymer chemistry. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Church in West Chester. John was an avid reader of everything, but especially science fiction and history. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and had a love for photography. He was a sports fan who enjoyed playing golf and watching the Steelers. But he was first and foremost a family man who found great joy in spending time with his new grandson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah wife of Jesse Garrison; grandson, Nicholas Garrison; siblings, Thomas Klepic, Greensburg, PA, Barbara Rieder, Collinsville, IL and Margaret Wright, Columbus, OH and 9 nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 10:00-11:15 am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Interment will be held in Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester.
