Stacey D. (Bean) Griffith, 41, of Exton, died just after 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.|
She was the wife of Arthur Griffith and the daughter of Peggy Bean Pastino of Downingtown and the late Robert J. Bean Jr.; as well as stepdaughter of George A. Pastino.
Born in West Chester, Stacey attended West Chester schools, graduating from East High School in 1989.
For more than 20 years, Stacey worked for Communications Test Design Inc. (CTDI) and will be sorely missed by her many friends there.
Stacey had overcome numerous obstacles in her life. She faced each challenge with a smile and a positive outlook, including her recent battle with cancer.
In addition to her aforementioned family, Stacey is survived by her sister, Tara (Corey) Hannahoe of Exeter; her brother, Jeffrey (Stacey) Bean of Alburtis; stepbrothers, Michael (Heather) Pastino of West Chester and Bill (Kyung) Pastino of Ellicot City, Md.; as well as nine nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Arlene Griffith, and sister-in-law, Carol Slowey, both of Exton.
A service celebrating Stacey's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Downingtown United Methodist Church, 751 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
Friends may call on the family beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stacey's memory may be sent to CTDI CARES at 1373 Enterprise Drive, West Chester, PA 19380. CTDI CARES is a charitable assistance program founded to support and assist CTDI employees battling cancer.
