Terry "Fuzzy" Baker Obituary
Terry "Fuzzy" Baker, 67, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Terry is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cheryl Dowlin Baker.
Born on April 6, 1944, in Norwich, N.Y., he was the son of the late Austin and Nina Brown Baker.
Fuzzy was a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542 for 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with and harassing his grandkids, and also enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Sherry Baker Keck of Parkesburg, Lisa Dawn Brady of Delaware, Ronnie Myers of Elverson, Mindy Fowler and Patrick B. Brady of Coatesville, and Cody Lee Baker, still living at home; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Gary Baker of Elverson, Louis Baker of Calvin, Pa., and Bruce Baker, Barry Lee Baker, and Desi T. Baker, all of Downingtown; and seven sisters, Joyce Audrey of Glenmoore, Mary Walton of Georgia, Gail Brosius of Quakertown, Kay Hayes of Downingtown, Bonnie Knapp of Sadsburyville, Nina Cox of Elverson and Metta Holzhauser of Malvern.
He was predeceased by one brother Ernest P. Baker; and three sisters, June DuBois, Dawn Baker and Debbie Baker.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Maclean-Chamberlain Funeral Home Inc.
There will be a time of visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
