Vivian Jones passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the age of 52. |
Vivian was an accomplished educator; a dedicated mother and wife.
She helped to lead the way in establishing the Avon Grove Charter School, taught numerous SAT prep courses, and would frequently demonstrate random acts of kindness.
Vivian was a graduate of Springfield High School, West Chester University (English, biology) and Syracuse University (MBA). She taught English at the University of Delaware and Christiana High School. Vivian was a skilled painter, cook, poet, writer, and decorator with a special interest in antiques.
Vivian will be truly missed and forever loved.
Vivian is survived by her husband, Brad Jones; daughters, Vanessa and Kenzie; son, Jeremy; parents, Anne and Richard Branton; brothers, Richard, Robert and Roger; sister, Sharon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may offer their respects Thursday, April 19, 9:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 356 Summit Road, Springfield. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at 11 a.m.
