Obituary Condolences

George H. Baldwin, formerly of West Chester George H. Baldwin, 90, of Ormond Beach, Fla., formerly of Kutztown, Pa., died July 4 in Oceanside Hospital, Ormond Beach, Fla. He was predeceased by his wife Marillyn (Mellam) Baldwin. He was born in Exton, Pa. January 13, 1923. He was the son of the late George H. and Carrie (Aichele) Baldwin. He was the former head football coach at Kutztown University. Baldwin's coach- ing career spanned 41 years including 17 years at Dwight Morrow (Englewood N.J.) High School, 2 years at Bloomfield (N.J.) High School, 6 seasons as an assistant coach at West Chester University, 4 seasons as the head coach of the Colchester (England) Gladiators and one season as an assistant coach with the New England Patriots. Baldwin was a Marine Corps veteran serving in WWII. Baldwin was a member of St James Episcopal Church, Ormond Beach. He is survived by his children; Thomas (and Diane) Baldwin of Wyomissing, Pa., Deborah Baldwin (and Bob Evans) of Keene, N.H., Patrice (and Ben) Steverman of West Chester, Pa. and Candace (and Ian) Pirie of Swarthmore, Pa.. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law William and Mary Sue Baldwin, one sister June Fisher, one brother-in-law Mickey Wind all of Ormond Beach, Fa., and one sister Claire McHugh of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was predeceased by his sister Betti Wind. Memorial services will be held at a future date. The Haigh-Black Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
