Arthur R. 'Art' 'Yaz' Griffith of Exton Arthur R. "Art" "Yaz" Griffith, 52, of Exton, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Paoli Memorial Hospital. Born in Bryn Mawr, he was the beloved son of Arlene B. Savastio Griffith of Exton and the late Robert T. Griffith; and was the loving brother of Carol Slowey, also of Exton. He was predeceased by his wife, Stacey B. Griffith, who passed away in 2011. A graduate of Downingtown High School, he was employed by Bath Fitters where he worked in the sales department. Art was an avid sports fan, especially of the Eagles, and referred to himself as the "Doctor of Football". He loved going to Sea Isle City, and in his spare time enjoyed meteorology and astrology. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lionville. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5th, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 104 S. Village Ave. in Lionville. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the , 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Arrangements are being handled by the James J. Terry Funeral Home, Downingtown.
