Doris Schutte Obituary

Doris Rex Schutte of West Chester Doris Rex Schutte, age 90 of West Chester (formerly of Norwood and Bonita Springs, Fla.) died on September 15, 2014. She was the wife of the late Richard W. Schutte, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. She is survived be her son Richard (wife Drucilla) Rex Schutte. Doris was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Colonial Dames, and Daughters of 1812. In addition to her son, Doris is survived by her grandchildren; Lisa, Greg, Brian, and Dana, her great- grandchildren; Dean, Sean, Maiden, Chloe, and Mia, brothers; Richard and Robert Rex and daughter-in-law Wanda. She was preceded in death by her son Mark, daughter Lisa and sister Anne. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at 1:30 p.m. and memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 20th at Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 S. New Street, West Chester PA 19382. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary in Doris' name.

To Rex, Dru and family--we are thinking of you at this sad time. Your mother (grandmother and Great grandmother!) will be missed. We admired her independent spirit!!
