I know I wrote something before but I can’t remember what it was. I met Harry in third grade and know this sweet shy man through high street and beyond. Though we never went anywhere socially I saw him many times at Paoli Hospital where I worked. He never knew me or recognized me but I did him. He was a very gentle soul, a kind gentleman and the world lost a Dear person in Harry. May he RIP

Worked with Harry at Paoli Service Station in the early 70s. Haven't seen him since I went off to college but think of him often. Had some great times in his 55 Chevy. That car could do wheel stands and beat lots of local hot rods on the strip behind National Rolling Mills. Harry showed me it was OK to experiment on our cars. Thanks for teaching me.

I went to school with Larry since 3rd grade. Then saw him when I worked at Paoli hospital. He was always such a nice guy, so kind and such a gentleman

Guess I was 9 or 10, out for a ride with the family. The station wagon breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Somehow we get home, but leave the car. The next day, my cousin Larry, (I never called him Harry), takes me with him to fix the car for my parents. He's under the car replacing the starter motor and asking me to hand him different wrenches. From that point forward, "grease monkey" was in my blood. Over the next 45 years our paths would occasionally cross, and amazingly he never failed to make my day a little brighter. In recent years at family functions, it was a treat listening to Larry, our Uncle Weldon and my father (Carl) telling an endless supply of anecdotes. Larry will truly be missed. Heartfelt condolences to Joyce and Patty Lee and her family.

Harry, one of a kind, kindred spirit to many. Not only did he fix his friends' cars gratis, he also provided them all with sustenance. He was a man of many talents and many interests. Joyce, my heart goes out to you at your loss. And to his sister, Patty, also.
